What they say…

Producer and hero A. Thamizhvanan: I entered the film industry with the aim of becoming an actor. I did act in around six Kannada films and in fact played the lead in one of them. When director Murthy told me and a couple of my friends this storyline, we felt it was socially relevant and hence backed the project.

Director Murthy M.R.: I worked as an assistant to various Kannada directors and did two films each in Tamil and Kannada. In Tamil, after Ponmagal Vanthal and Thullum Ila Nenje , this is my third.

Music director Saran Prakash: I am a product of the Music College, Adyar. I can also play the keyboard and the drums. I have done a lot of stage shows. This is my debut feature. Hope the audience enjoys the film and the music.

Music Highlights: There are five songs in the album. The opening song, ‘Poove Poove,’ is a wonderful rendition by Harish Raghavendra and Nimmi. This soft, romantic number is written by Pavalur Ezhilvanan. ‘Quattarukku Mattervenum,’ written by Thendral Senthil and sung by Mukesh and Chinna Ponnu, is a high-on-energy, mass number. ‘Chinna Vennila’ is a melodious track by the same lyricist and sung by Prasanna and Amrutha. Viveka has written ‘Unnile Paadhi Naan,’ a touching number that comes twice in the album. While Vijay Yesudas and Nimmi render it the first time, it has another version by the veteran S.P. Balasubramaniam.
