What it is about

Jeni Powerful Media’’s Adhu Vera Idhu Vera has been produced by S.Jeyaseelan. It has been written and directed by M. Thilagarajan. Varshan, Sania, Thara, Imman Annachi, Ganja Karuppu, Singamuthu, Thyagu, Ponnambalam, ‘Dhalapathi’ Dinesh, Velmurugan and Subraj form the cast. The audio was launched recently by director Bharathiraja and the first copy was received by producer R. B. Chowdhary. The camera has been handled by Ravishankar, editing has been done by Ganesh, the music has been scored by Taj Noor, and the stunts choreographed by ‘Dhalapathi’ Dinesh.

Nayagan and wants to become a popular hero. He comes to Chennai with that intention and meets a relative employed in the police department (Imman Annachi). He also meets another individual whose ambition is to become an actor (Ganja Karuppu). Does Varshan realise his dream?

Producer S.Jeyaseelan: I was an inspector in the traffic wing but quit my job as I entered the real estate business. I had always dreamed of producing and directing a movie. Adhu Vera Idhu Vera had an interesting storyline, so I decided to produce it. Director M. Thilagarajan’s story and direction are good.

Hero Varshan: My father Jayamani is a comedian, so I developed an interest in acting right from my childhood. After completing a B.E. in computer science, I decided my calling was films. My parents approved of this and I underwent training in dance from masters such as Jayanthi, Dinesh and Sridar. For fights, there was Pandian master. My experience with Koothu-p-pattarai also proved useful. That was when I was selected for the hero’s role in the comedy

Music director Taj Noor: This is my seventh Tamil film but the first comedy for which I have scored the music. Adhu Vera Idhu Vera is sure to draw laughs. I have tried some innovations with the music such as making ‘Gana’ Bala sing to a contemporary background score. There is also an Ayappa song that has a modern appeal. The other films in the pipeline are Velacherry, Gatham Gatham , Orange Devathai and Puthu Vamsam .

Music highlights

There are six numbers in the album, and the best is ‘Saami Thindhana Thom’, written by Na.Muthu kumar and sung by Velmurugan with a devotional fervour. ‘Mundiripu Azhagi’, sung by Nivas, Malavika and written by the same lyricist, is sure to appeal to listeners. ‘Chinnadaaga Morachiputta’, written by Viveka and sung by Gana Bala, is good. Viveka has also written ‘Micky Mousa Paarthaal’, sung by Nincy Vincent. ‘Atobom Baby’, sung by Ramya, Padmalatha and Tajnoor, again written by Viveka, is a fine song. The title song ‘ Adhu Vera Idhu Vera ’, written by Karuppasami and Mukesh, is sure to make listeners shake a leg.
