Another cop story

After Madurai Sambavam and Sivappu Enakku Pidikkum , director Youreka’s Thoppi is getting ready for release. “The film is about a young man from a gangster family who wants to become a cop. In his efforts to join the police force, he faces resistance from the local community as well as from the police, and dies under questionable circumstances. What happens thereafter is what Thoppi is all about,” says Youreka. Actress Raksha Raj from Kerala is paired with Murli Ram in Thoppi . “Raksha Raj is trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam,” says Youreka.
