Abhishek Bachchan injured during film shooting

Actor Abhishek Bachchan was injured during a film shooting in the City Palace premises here on Wednesday. Bachchan junior was shooting for the Rohit Shetty film “Bol Bachchan”.

He reportedly slipped while enacting a scene in which he alights from a cycle rickshaw in the Mubarak Mahal area of the sprawling palace premises which houses the Sawai Man Singh II Museum and is also the residence of the former Jaipur royals. Abhishek was taken to the Fortis Hospital for first aid. Reports said he had minor cuts on his forehead and bruises on his hand and leg. Thereafter he left for Mumbai.

Abhishek has Asin Totumkkal and Prachi Desai as co-stars in “Bol Bachchan”, a comedy film which is slated for release sometime in early 2012. The film is produced by Ajay Devgan and Dilin Mehta. Ajay Devgan also is in town in connection with the shooting.

The team had earlier shot scenes in a heritage hotel in the city, Narain Niwas and at Chomu Fort, situated about 50 km from here for about a fortnight.
