"Black Swan" star Natalie Portman has signed on for "Jackie", a new biopic on the former United States' First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

The movie, directed by Chilean director Pablo Larrain and penned by Noah Oppenheim, will follow the first four days in Jackie's life after the assassination of her husband, John F Kennedy, reported Deadline.

Portman, 33, had recently signed on to another biopic, that of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, in "On The Basis Of Sex".
