Chennai’s indie rock frontrunners
showcase an electronic streak to them that ranges from moody synths to full-blown dubstep-level meltdowns. It is that kind of diversity and even unpredictability that put the band amongst the must-see performers in the country. On the back of releasing their second record WKND FRNDS, The F16s return to their second home in Bengaluru to perform at Hyatt Centric Hotel. While members have also dived into their separate projects, The F16s still bring together a familiar melancholic, but party-happy vibe with songs like ‘Amber’, ‘Moonchild’ and ‘Jacuzzi’.
