Prasoon Joshi is a National award winning lyricist, author and screenwriter. He is also the CEO of McCann Worldgroup India and chairman of McCann Asia Pacific, a global advertising network agency.

He started his film career writing lyrics for Rajkumar Santoshi’s

Lajja in 2001, and went on to work with many of the successful filmmakers and music directors in the business. Known for his work in movies like

Rang De Basanti ,

Bhaag Mikha Bhaag ,

Taare Zameen Par among others, Mr. Joshi is a recipient of the Padma Shri. He has also served as a jury member at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. 

An MBA with Masters in Physics, Mr. Joshi was working with advertising firms before becoming a popular name in Hindi cinema.
