'Mersal' half-time review

Atlee proves yet again why he’s the heir apparent to the throne of Tamil cinema’s ‘biggest’ filmmaker.

Take a regular mass film and multiply everything by three to get a sense of the scale of this Vijay-starrer.

Four kidnappings, three songs, two heroines, one flashback, one murder, a major twist and two Vijays and the film is just half done.

As long as the director manages to tie all the loose ends together in the second half,
