Ajith Kumar takes part in state rifle championship

The 'Nerkonda Paarvai' actor spotted in Coimbatore at the event with fans clicking pictures

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar enjoys having a life outside cinema. His history as an admirer of racing and fast cars is well-documented, and the Viswasam star has even incorporated bits of his personal interests in his movies.

Now, Ajith has taken part in the 45th Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship, which was held recently in Coimbatore. Pictures of the actor, whose Nerkonda Paarvai is gearing for release soon, from the event is going viral. A couple of months ago, similar photos of the actor rehearsing with a rifle were also circulated — now we know what he was practising for! Videos and pictures of the actor taken by fans have been widely circulated online.

The actor was also appointed as a Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser by The Madras Institute of Technology for its team Dhaksha, which participated in an international Unarmed Aerial Vehicle launch competition earlier this year, to huge praise from his fans. He is also a keen photographer.

Ajith’s next film

Nerkonda Paarvai will release on August 8. An official remake of the Hindi movie Pink , the film also stars Shraddha Srinath, Vidya Balan, Andrea Tariang and Abhirami Venkatachalam among others.
