Irrfan turns suave for ‘Jazbaa’

Days after unveiling Jazbaa’s first look at the Cannes Film Festival with the movie’s leading lady Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, director Sanjay Gupta has made public a second poster with actor Irrfan.

In the new poster, the Piku star dons a black leather jacket and aviators with a cityscape behind him. He is playing a suspended cop in the Sanjay Gupta-directed action drama.

Irrfan’s stylish new avatar in the film is a departure from his unkempt look in his previous outings.

“Here it is. Presenting Irrfan in

Jazbaa . I’ve always enjoyed doing a complete makeover with all my heroes. Amitji, Sanju, Anil, Jackie, Ajay, Saif, Sunil, John and now Irrfan,” Gupta posted on Twitter.

Jazbaa is Aishwarya’s comeback project after a gap of five years.

Gupta is also returning to the silver screen post 2013 multi-starrer crime drama

Shootout at Wadala .

The trailer of the film, which also stars Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles, will be unveiled in Mumbai soon.

The movie hits theatres on October 9.
