The Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has strongly condemned the views expressed by Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) nominee M.A.S. Subramanian that cadres of the CPI(M) would extend support to him in Mahe, an enclave of the Union Territory in Kerala.

In a statement, R. Rajangam, secretary of CPI(M), described as untrue and wrong propaganda the view expressed by the MNM leader.
