The Bharatiya Janata Party has renominated its sitting MLA from Visakhapatnam North Assembly segment Vishnu Kumar Raju, who will now be contesting against HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao of the TDP and K.K. Raju of the YSRCP.
The BJP announced the names of 12 candidates for Assembly segments in Visakhapatnam district.
Following is the list of candidates for other segments in the district: Medapati Ravindar Reddy (Bhimili), Kasi Viswanath Raju (Visakha South), Buddha Chandrasekhar (Visakha West), former Mayor Pulusu Janardhan (Gajuwaka), K. Uma Maheswara Rao (Araku), Gandhi Lokula (Paderu), Ponnaganti Appa Rao (Anakapalle), K.V.V. Satyanarayana (Pendurthi), Mylapalli Raja Rao (Yelamanchili), Kakara Nukaraju (Payakaraopeta) and Srinivas Gadhe (Narsipatnam).
