Scrapbooking is not something new. It’s been around since the 15th or 16th century. It began as a simple collection contained in a book. The collection could include recipes, greeting cards, tickets, notes and drawings. It is believed to have been started by the Mormons, a religious sect in the U.S., who wanted to preserve their family and religious history. The idea caught on with others too and people began to paste photographs, with notes and other commentaries to remember the moment.
