Nadal eases past Anderson for 16th Grand Slam title

Rafael Nadal thumped Kevin Anderson in straight sets – 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 – to win his third US Open title and 16th Grand Slam overall.

Considering the run of poor form and difficulty with injuries that he had to endure in the past years, Nadal hailed 2017 as one of the best of his career.
