Chile beat Cameroon 2-0

Late goals from Arturo Vidal and Eduardo Vargas gave Chile a 2-0 victory against Cameroon in the Confederations Cup. Vargas became the first player to have a goal disallowed and allowed in the same match with the aid of video reviews. In Sunday’s other game, Portugal were held to a 2-2 draw by Mexico.

Koepka wins 117th US Open Championship

Despite the strong winds and the colossal pressure that goes with the final rounds, American Brooks Koepka held firm to win the 117th US Open Championship, becoming the seventh straight first-time winner of a major in the process.
