Australia through to U-19 WC final

Afghanistan’s fairytale at the Under-19 Cricket World Cup came to an end as they were defeated by six wickets by the Australians.

Chasing a modest total of 182, Australia made it to the final to be held on Saturday with over 12 overs remaining.

Lionel Messi scored a sumptuous free-kick with six minutes left on the clock to complete Barcelona’s 2-1 victory over Alaves, ensuring that they remain 11 points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.

After John Guidetti had given the visitors a shock first-half lead at the Camp Nou, Luis Suarez equalised for Barcelona in the 72nd minute to spark their comeback.
