There were fifties for Matt Renshaw and Mitchell Starc, while Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers, finishing the day with four wickets.

Sevilla, Juve post first-leg wins in last 16 stage

A 2-1 home win for Sevilla against Leicester City keeps the tie firmly in the balance as the second-leg will take place at the home of the English champions.

A 2-0 away win, meanwhile, pins Juventus firmly as favourites to progress from their Champions League Round of 16 tie against Porto.

Valencia stun Real Madrid 2-1

Real Madrid missed the chance to extend their lead in La Liga as they went down 2-1 against Valencia.

Two goals in the space of the first nine minutes put Valencia firmly in control, and despite Cristiano Ronaldo pulling one back before half-time, they were never in with a chance to take points from the game.
