Tanzanian delegation visits NSIC

A trade delegation from Tanzania visited the National Small Industries Corporation here to learn more about the self-employment opportunities generated through the NSIC's “Incubation” programme.

The delegation was led by Tanzania's Small Industries Development Organisation director-general Mike Laiser who also holds the post of Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Tanzania. Chairman and Managing Director of NSIC, Dr. H. P. Kumar, briefed the delegation and apprised the visitors of the NSIC's desire to set up similar incubation centres, besides developing policies and creating the institutional framework for small and medium enterprise development in Tanzania.
