‘Miraaya' opens store in city

This is its 43rd store in the country

A fashion garment store – Miraaya – opened at Dutt Island, Siripuram, on Saturday.

Addressing a media conference in this connection, Rajesh Jain, fashion designer and founder of the Miraaya brand, said that the brand offers women's fashion wear at a reasonable price. The products available at the store include: tunics, kurtis, churidhars, salwars and Indo-western fashion wear apart from accessories like handbags, fashion jewellery, bracelets, bangles, necklace and earring sets.

He said that this was the 43rd store of Miraaya in the country. The brand has already caught the attention of the people of Visakhapatnam as it was already launched at Reliance Trends at CMR Central Mall. The prices range from a mere Rs.299 to Rs.1,499.

Divya of Olive Ridley said that the brand was based out of the US and India. It was concentrating more on online sales. The focus was to promote organic farming and the cotton used in the manufacture of the fabric was procured from organic farms. She said that part of the proceeds from the sale would go towards promotion of eco-awareness.
