Gold prices today recovered by Rs 80 to Rs 30,080 per ten grams in the national capital after fresh buying by stockists and retailers for the ensuing marriage season.

Silver prices, however, fell further by Rs 300 to Rs 44,000 per kg on lack of buying support from industrial units and coin makers.

Traders said fresh buying by stockists and retailers for the ensuing marriage season mainly led to rise in gold prices.
