BSE resumes trading

MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) resumed trading after a technical glitch which halted the trading on the exchange for around three hours.

The exchange closed trading immediately after the session started in the morning on Thursday.

“Currently the trading has started, after resolving the technical problems,” a BSE spokesperson said.

Earlier in the morning Yatin Padia, speaking for the Exchange, had said: “Due to a network outage being currently faced, BSE has decided to close all markets."

The benchmark Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share Sensitive Index (Sensex) closed at 25,841.21 on Wednesday.
