U.S. dollar firms up against rupee

The U.S. dollar ended higher against the Rupee at Rs. 45.76/77 per dollar but and Pound Sterling also turned higher at Rs. 72.73/75 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) here today.
