U.S. dollar ends sharply cheaper against the rupee

The U.S. dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs 46.49/50 per dollar and the pound sterling also finished lower at Rs 68.41/43 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market here Monday.
