U.S. dollar ends sharply cheaper against rupee

The U.S. dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs. 50.73/74 per dollar and the Pound Sterling also finished lower at Rs. 78.02/04 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange market (Forex) in Mumbai on Tuesday.
