U.S. dollar ends cheaper against the rupee

The U.S. dollar ended cheaper against the rupee at Rs. 44.32/33 per dollar but the Pound Sterling turned slightly higher at Rs 72.57/59 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) here today.
