U.S. dollar ends cheaper against rupee

The U.S. dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs. 46.53/54 per dollar and the pound sterling also finished lower at Rs. 72.68/70 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market here Thursday.
