B. K. Mandal, Director (Finance) of the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), has assumed additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of the company with effect from January 1, 2013. The former Chairman & Managing Director S. Hajara retired on December 31, 2012, after one-year extension.
SCI also announced that Capt. B. B. Sinha, Senior Vice-President, has taken charge as Director (Personnel & Administration) with effect from January 1, 2013.
