L&T wins ₹8,650 crore MTHL order

Engineering giant Larsen & Toubro has bagged an order worth ₹8,650 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for the construction of Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) packages 01 and 03.

The project involves construction of a 21.8-km bridge connecting the Mumbai mainland with Navi Mumbai, said a company statement. “Being a city with a very large population, Mumbai requires important infrastructure to meet its ever-increasing needs and we are delighted to have bagged this crucial mandate that will significantly improve connectivity in and around Mumbai,” said S. N. Subrahmanyan, CEO and MD, L&T.
