“The first few weeks of life after retirement have been wonderfully pleasant. There has been more time to be at home, play with my dogs and catch upon smaller things which I never found the time to do earlier. As days go by, I will begin to focus my attention on specific areas where value can be added to enhance the quality of life of rural citizens. I hope this will be a greatly engrossing activity and one which hopefully I would enjoy.”
