Chinatrust Commercial Bank will be opening a branch at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. It will be the second branch of the bank, which, according to a release, is the only Taiwanese bank operating in India. It has a branch in New Delhi.
CEO of Chinatrust Commercial Bank in India Subhasis Banerjee said: “Taiwanese business interests are on the rise in India, and we look at this as an opportunity to take a bigger role in development of the relationship between the two countries and their business interests. The Bank also has further expansion plans in India.”
