Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) has reported a net profit of Rs.193.3 crore (consolidated) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012, against Rs.137.6 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, up 40.5 per cent.
Total income has increased to Rs.938.8 crore from Rs.743.6 crore, up 26.3 per cent. During the period, advertising revenues were Rs.509.4 crore, a growth of 28.8 per cent over the same period of the previous year.
Share price gains 5.4 %
Shares of ZEE surged and closed with a gain of 5.41 per cent at Rs.234.65 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
