Leyland November sales down

Ashok Leyland has reported a 36 per cent drop in its commercial vehicle sales (excluding small commercial vehicle Dost) at 4,487 units in November 2012 against 7,061 units in the same period in the previous year. Dost sales stood at 2,883 units (814 units). Including this, total sales declined by 6 per cent to 7,730 units from 7,875 units.

Mahindra & Mahindra reported a rise of 18 per cent in its sales at 48,143 units in November against 40,722 units in the year-ago period.

Tata Motors reported a marginal decline (one per cent) in commercial vehicle sales (excluding passenger vehicles) at 44,323 units against 44,732 units during the period under reference.
