Bihar State Co-Operative Bank Karmchari Sangh (BSCBKS) will launch a stir from June 14 to press for its demands.

The demands are implementation of the ninth bipartite settlement, promotion and regularization of the services of persons appointed on contract basis, BSCBKS president B Prasad said in a statement.

Alleging that the bank management was indifferent to the welfare of its 200-strong employees in its 16 branches in Bihar and Jharkhand, Prasad said BSCBKS members would sport black badges on June 14 and June 15.

BSCBKS will organize rally and demonstration in front of the bank’s head office on the two days before launching a day-long dharna the next day.

The bank employees will also organize a one-day token strike on July 7, and would consider an indefinite strike if their demands are not met by then, he added.
