Adani Ports Q2 net up

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has reported a 25 per cent rise in its total income for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012 at Rs. 792 crore against Rs. 632 crore in the same period in the previous year.

The net profit has risen by 57 per cent to Rs. 430 crore from Rs. 273 crore in the second quarter of last year.

The cargo handled by the company at its Adani ports stood at 20.43 million tonnes, a rise of 15 per cent over the year-ago period.
