Toyota on Wednesday started its round-the-clock roadside assistance program for its customers offering solutions just a phone call away.

A flat tyre, empty fuel tank or an accident are some of the nightmares that haunt almost every car user. But not if you own a Toyota vehicle, as the company on Wednesday started its round-the-clock roadside assistance programme for its customers offering solutions just a phone call away.

All vehicles invoiced from Toyota Kirloksar Motor, the company’s joint venture with the Kirloskar Group in India, with effect from April 1 would be provided three years roadside assistance coverage absolutely free within 100 kms of the dealership, the company said in a statement. The programme would cover the customer against unforeseen incidents.

Replacing a flat tyre with a spare one, providing fuel in case it runs out, retrieving spare key from home and towing immobilised vehicles to the nearest Toyota dealership are some of the services provided under this programme.

And that’s not all. In case of an accident, the vehicle would be towed to the nearest dealership and the customer would be provided a free ride home. In case of injuries the customer will be assisted to seek medical help and accommodation if required.

The services would be centrally managed by 24X7 Assistance Centre, which could be reached at the toll free number.
