Gopal Das was on Tuesday appointed acting Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL). He succeeds Kuldeep Goyal who retired on July 31.
Mr. Das, who was till now serving as Director (Human Resources Development) in BSNL, will hold the position till the new CMD is appointed by the Centre-nominated high-level search panel.
