Mahindra Satyam has launched the “ERP Shared Support Services” as part of the company’s current focus on expanding its footprint in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.

“ERP Shared Support Services” is a new service delivery model offering the company’s customers support services for Oracle and SAP in key emerging verticals through its Global Solution Centre (GSC) in Egypt, a company statement said.

Mahindra Satyam, the new brand identity of Satyam Computer Services, said the unveiling of the new service delivery model is set to leverage the Egypt GSC as a resource hub for the region and is aimed at delivering value to its customers through unmatched quality of service.

Located in Smart Village, Giza, the GSC is a state-of-the-art centre that aims to train about 300 people to serve as a major technological development and software support group for Mahindra Satyam’s customers in the region.

“We are targeting growth of around 100 per cent in the first year, which we are confident to achieve given the GSC’s strong capacity to provide support services for SAP and Oracle customers,” Atul Kunwar, President, MENA, Mahindra Satyam, said.
