Tech Mahindra to raise headcount in U.S.

Tech Mahindra has announced plans to add close to 100 employees at its Fargo-Moorhead centre in the U.S. by end-2015.

In a statement, the company said that it reached its 24-month job target six months ahead of its projected date. At present, it employs 170 people. It started with 20 employees in June 2012.

The Fargo-Moorhead centre now supports customers from information technology, infrastructure managed services and the business services group client segments.

“Building our capacities in Fargo is fundamental to our business strategy as it is one of the fastest growing cities,” said Lakshmanan Chidambaram, Head-North America, Tech Mahindra, in a statement. “It is simply a great place for businesses with its top-notch and highly trained workforce,” he added.

Apart from Tech Mahindra, the Mahindra group employs close to 3,000 employees across various states of the U.S.
