It will be applicable only on direct flights

“This sale has been launched to introduce SpiceJet’s all-new network that came into effect on March 30. The sale will be applicable only on direct flights,” SpiceJet said.

SpiceJet has launched a three-day sale of domestic flight tickets starting at base fare of Re.1 for travel starting July 1 onwards till March 31, 2015. Passengers need to pay the extra statutory taxes and fees.

“This sale has been launched to introduce SpiceJet’s all-new network that came into effect on March 30. The sale will be applicable only on direct flights,” SpiceJet said.

Seats available under this offer are limited and availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Apart from the Re.1 offer, discounted fares are available for Rs.799 and Rs.1,499 (statutory taxes and fees not inclusive), depending on specific flight and date of travel.

“These fares will allow families to plan their vacations and weekend trips at fares lower than train fares with joy and freedom, now that the pressure of March school exams is finally over. But they need to move fast as seats are limited,” said Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet.

“This is a move by SpiceJet to promote its new routes. It is beneficial for consumers, especially with the offer being valid till March 2015, much longer than the typical 3-6 month sales,” Vikram Malhi, GM, South and Southeast Asia, Expedia, said.
