Sonata Software arm to acquire stake in U.S. firm

Sonata Software North America Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sonata Software Ltd, has signed definitive agreements to acquire a controlling stake in California-based Rezopia Inc..

Rezopia runs a cloud-based end-to-end reservations, contracts, operations and distributions management platform for travel providers, Sonata Software said in a statutory filing to the stock exchange on Friday.

In a separate transaction, according to the filing, Sonata Software has purchased the business of Xyka India Pvt Ltd, a Bangalore-based company and the sole service provider to Rezopia under a business transfer agreement.
