IT services provider NTT DATA, on Tuesday, opened an advanced cloud services command centre here. The state-of-the-art Global Service Operations Centre (GSoC) will support customers in remote and cloud IT infrastructure and applications management.
NTT DATA Senior Vice-President (Cloud Services) Kannan Ramamani said the Bengaluru facility was truly global in nature, and gave high priority to security while supporting clients worldwide.

He said considering that the cloud is an identified area for future growth, NTT DATA, which has over 3,000 employees in Bengaluru of the over 10,000 in India, expects to focus more on product development centre and command centre.
On hiring, he said, “We continue to increase our talent strength through lateral and campus-hiring programmes, and expect our hiring to continue through 2015 also.”
