Maruti to consider merger of seven arms with itself

Maruti Suzuki India, on Wednesday, said it would consider amalgamation of its seven wholly-owned subsidiaries with itself at the board meeting to be held this Friday.

“…in its meeting scheduled to be held on April 26, 2013, shall consider the proposal of amalgamation of its seven wholly-owned subsidiaries with and into Maruti Suzuki India Limited,” the company said in a BSE filing.

The seven wholly-owned subsidiaries are: Maruti Insurance Business Agency Ltd., Maruti Insurance Agency Services Ltd., Maruti Insurance Distribution Services Ltd., Maruti Insurance Agency Logistics Ltd., Maruti Insurance Agency Solutions Ltd., Maruti Insurance Agency Network Ltd. and Maruti Insurance Broker Ltd.
