LIC Housing Finance disbursed loans worth Rs. 6,005 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2012, registering a growth of 27 per cent.
Individual loan disbursals grew 21 per cent to Rs. 5,508 crore. Total income for the quarter was Rs. 1,955 crore as against Rs. 1,593 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year, recording a growth of 23 per cent.
Revenue from operations was Rs. 1,905 crore against Rs. 1539 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year, a growth of 24 per cent. The net profit was Rs. 236.25 crore against Rs. 305.69 crore.

Lakshmi Vilas Bank increased its net profit by 10.4 per cent to Rs. 31.31 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2012 from Rs. 28.35 crore in the year-ago period.
Total business registered a growth of 14.2 per cent to Rs. 25,830 crore from Rs. 22,625 crore.

Deposits rose by 11.28 per cent to Rs. 14,780 crore from Rs. 13,281 crore and advances by 18.3 per cent to Rs. 11,051 crore from Rs. 9,344 crore. Total income grew by 16.1 per cent to Rs. 499 crore.
