In a month where production was impacted due to the ongoing strike at two plants in Bangalore, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced that it has sold 8,206 units in the domestic market in March, 2014. This is against the sale of 19,452 units in the same period last year, bringing down production by 57 per cent compared to March 2013.

The company was in lockout for an entire week starting March 16, following which workers have continued to strike work after refusing to sign a “good conduct undertaking”.
