Jet Airways (India) Ltd.’s CEO Garry Kenneth Toomey, who joined the airline barely seven months ago, has resigned.
Mr. Toomey’s resignation is effective immediately, the airline said on Thursday, without giving any details regarding the circumstances of his resignation.
“Ravishankar Gopalakrishnan, the chief financial officer, will officiate as the “acting chief executive officer” till the board identifies and appoints a new CEO,” the airline said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
