Datsun Go to be showcased in 90 cities

Nissan Motor India said it would showcase the `Datsun Go’, the small car, in more than 90 cities across the country beginning Saturday

To start with, it has started showcasing the car in New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. It will be showcasing the car in other cities and towns soon.

‘Datsun Go’ was unveiled in New Delhi in July. ``This is the first time customers will be able to touch and feel Datsun’s first offering,’’ said a release.

The Datsun GO has been engineered to meet the needs of the Indian customers, who seek better value propositions.

“The roadshow will give them a chance to experience innovative and convenient features of the car developed specially for India,’’ the release said. ``

The Datsun GO is expected to be a category up in its price range, and will be priced below Rs. 4 lakhs,’’ the release added.
