A historic young entrepreneurs mission between India and Pakistan has been launched which will see 50 youth from both countries explore business opportunities, visit world class institutions in Lahore and Islamabad and engage in bilateral dialogues at a joint summit.
According to a statement from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which is backing this mission, the Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE) will be facilitating a series of bilateral meetings between young leaders from Pakistan and India. The four day visit to Lahore and Islamabad in Pakistan from the October 27 to 30 will be led by Dr Rahul Mirchandani, Founder President of CAAYE and former National Chairperson, Young Indians.
The CAAYE India-Pakistan Bilateral Mission, organised by the Young Entrepreneurs Forum of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Young Indians is a major step in the pursuit of the Alliance’s goals.

After crossing the Wagah Border, key highlights of the bilateral mission’s agenda include interactions at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Arfa Karim Software Technology Park, and the Pakistan Fashion Design Council. There will also be a day-long Indo-Pak Young Entrepreneurs Summit, followed by meetings with young students at the ROOTS School, Islamabad and preparing a business case study of the success story of Bahria Town.
Dr Rahul Mirchandani, Chairman- CAAYE, is quoted as saying that “The Bilateral Mission is carefully structured to showcase the ‘Best of Pakistan’ to the ‘Best of India.” CAAYE’s mission is to break down barriers and build lasting relationships across borders. The mission aims to develop partnerships and friendships that will last a lifetime and allow for the youth of the two nations to build towards a relationship based on trust, mutual respect and co-existence. The delegation will be represented by 25 young entrepreneurs from 15 cities of India.
