The provisional winning price for pan-India 3G spectrum on Thursday reached Rs.9,330 crore even as Communications and Information Technology Minster A. Raja said the e-auction process was likely to be completed within next two days.
At today's price, the revenues from 3G spectrum auction alone would touch Rs.38,000 crore, while the government is hoping to garner over Rs.55,000 crore from the entire auction process (3G and wireless broadband).
After 17 days and 100 rounds of auction, Delhi and Mumbai continue to remain most-valued circles at over Rs.1,400 crore, while the bid prices for other circles was also increasing.

From Friday, the focus of bids will now shift to the ‘B' and ‘C' category circles. Nine firms, including Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar, Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices are in the fray for 3G spectrum.
