Help Jyothi save her 18 year old daughter from serious ailments

What seemed to be a simple viral fever turned out to be something really grave for 18 year old Asita, daughter of a poor worker, Jyothi . After losing her father at the tender age of 6, Asita was under the care of her mother who works as an agricultural labourer. She managed to complete her 12th standard studies and even passed her examinations.

It was time for her to join the college when Asita came down with what then seemed like viral fever. Not being in a position to afford expensive treatment, Jyothi admitted her to a local clinic. However, Asita’s fever kept on increasing with each passing day and she began to become unconscious frequently. With the help of some relatives, Jyothi managed to shift her daughter to the Neuro-One private hospital in Trichy. It is here that doctors, upon running various tests diagnosed Asita with “Myasthenia Gravis.” Hospital administration informed Jyoti that to successfully treat Asita, the blood in her entire body will have to be replaced. The entire treatment will cost around 5 lakh rupees, money that Jyothi does not have and can neither source easily.
