Veena Venugopal

Veena Venugopal has been a journalist for the past decade, and is based in Delhi. She is the author of Would You Like Some Bread With that Book? (Yoda Press), a collection of essays on books and the pleasure of reading, described as a “joy ride” for the voracious reader by The Times of India. She writes for Quartz, Atlantic Media's new online magazine and is working on her next book, which will be published by Penguin in 2014.

Veena Venugopal will be in conversation with Lalita Iyer and Varun Agarwal on Writing for the World's Youngest Nation in Chennai on February 17, 2013 at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall in Lady Andal School.
